Harisundar Mahila Bahuddeshiya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Udgir is established on 12-10-1995. It is registered under society’s registration Act 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. It is established by seven social backward.
Since from 1996, organization is running school for handicapped person at Ahemadpur & Udgir Dist. Latur Maharashtra State. Organization is working in different areas, we have started Marathi medium for handicapped students since from 1996. This school is rewarded by Govt, by give 100% grant for our better work. Society is specially working for development of rural areas in Latur region. The major population of Latur districts depend on farming but due to poor irrigation facilities this region is not well develop. So the organization is working for the education social & economical development of society.
The organization runs an old age home for 50 needy senior citizens, special school for physically handicapped at Udgir, Special School for mental challenged in Ahemadpur, Special school for mental challenged ‘at Ausa Dist. Latur. Well trained staff is appointed in all this school as per requirement. The schools are recognized & added by state Govt, of Maharashtra.
Twenty three trained staff is appointed in our "Tuljai Residential School for mental retardation in Latur district. The intake capacity of school is 100 children with special needs. Apart from regular curriculum activity, the organization conducts various program. In the last & pre academic year we have conducted following programs. Plantation program an 12-7-2014 for making the environment clean & pleasant. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti (2nd Oct. 2014) organization gave education station aries to needy students.
Similarly on the occasion of republic day (26th Jan. 2015) organization have conducted different competitive programs like cultural, sports, & educational & also gave awards for encouraging the students. In the Maharashtra of some region hailstorm was gone. Our school is also in that region. Our teachers and body members of organization go there and help the farmer and try to-give help from government and other NGO.
In this year the election of parliament. So to awareness of pople our teachers go to the backward region of our school and aware them on the subject that 100 % of voting, no cheating 100% of registration of 18 years younger. Organization has been arranging 'education tour1 every year. This year we went to Saidham at Chakur. We have also celebrated "world handicapped day on 3rd Dec. 2014. Organization is very much aware about the peoples health, so we organized 'Clinical camp for all disease" on 21st Feb. 2015. The beneficiaries & parents are satisfied by all these activities concluded by organization.'
One of the program on water conservation is held in the school on 12-1- 2015 for avoiding shortage of water in summer session. It is important to conserve the water. No. of methods of water conservation shown with the help of slide show and digital posters. In this program a practical of roof water conservation shown to the students.
Management decided to develop the students in their own interest and try to motivate the interest through various competitions like as singing, drawing, essay writing, games. In the second week of July i.e. 7-7-2014 to 13-7-2014 computations are arranged. The students in the school participate as their own interest. After completion prizes has given to the students which students are selected by the selection committee. So we are thankful to our good wishers & hope their good support in future.
5th June 2015 was Celebrated as world environmental day by Tuljai Residential School for Mental Retardation Nideban on this occasion tree plantation was done in special presence of Gramm penchant Sarpanch Mrs.Lohkare We have planted 270 trees Mrs. Lohkare Guided us about the tree Conservation of planted trees. Our Institute Celebrated Lokmanya Tilak Jayanti (Birthday Anniversary) on 23rd July 2015
We have Celebrated 15th Aug.2015 by arranging water Conservation Program in Special Presence of Our Institute Secretary S.M. ALAT on this day we have hoisted flag at 7:35 AM. on this special we have distributed fruits, uniforms and Educational needs to the students.
As our region facing draught Programs since from last two years we have made water conservation scheme in our Institute we have collected the water from our school roof in a pit made on ground by this we have achieved 90% water conservation.
5th Sept.2015 was celebrated as Teacher day in our school we have worship frame of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. We have also celebrated Mahatama Gandhi’s & Lai Bahadur Shatri’s Jayanti 14th Nov we have Celebrated Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru birthday as a Children's day. 3r Dec 2015 World Handicapped day on the Special occasion we have organized Prabhat Pheri (Rally)on the special occasion we have organized Cultural Programs, Sports and other Activities. The President of Municipality udgir Mr.Rajeshwar Niture distributed Prizes to the best among them & program was over under Honorable Mr.Niture consultation on 6l Dec 2015 we have celebrated Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkars Jayanti. On the occasion of 3r Jan 2016 we have Celebrated Savitribai phules Jayanti and Women's day one the Special occasion we have organized speech & guidance to the student.
On 12 Jan. 2016 we have celebrated Swami Vivekanand Jayanti & the mother of nation Jijau jayanti on 23rd Jan 2016 we have celebrated Netaji Subhash Chandra bose birthday anniversary. 26th Jan 2016 we have organized 26th Jan 2016 as a "Republic Day" Head Master of our school has hoisted the flag Tiranga at 7:30 AM.
We have organized cultural program as singing, dance, drama / play a lot of students were perform best. Their performances was outstanding the function begins at 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at night. Chief guest of the Program was Mr.Ashok Patil Ekambekar our school Staff also Present there on the Special occasion chief guest of our program has guided us his valuable speech impact our students. Beginning of the programs Starts with our national anthem and end with Vande Matram.
